There was a little surprise on our plate at Insects Plus 2025: Mealworm-based meatballs!

I tasted it. It is very nice, its texture is balanced. If you didn't know what it was, you probably wouldn't have guessed it. Of course, the treat was a little lacking because there was no piyaz with it. 😊

Of course, I can't go so far as to compare it with Inegöl meatballs. But these little protein balls wink at the tables of the future.
